Ibrahim is an experienced Egyptologist, theologian, guide and linguist. He grew up in a Coptic Christian family from a small town in the south of Egypt. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alexandria in Egyptology in 1995 and recently completed his Masters Degree in Early African Christian Studies from the Alexandria School of Theology.

Ibrahim has been an interpreter and guide for the better part of the last twenty-five years and has travelled all over Egypt and the Middle East to work on tourism-related projects. He’s a licensed guide across all of Egypt, and has also lead combined trips to Jordan and Lebanon.

He has a teenaged daughter and spends his very little free time in Heliopolis, Cairo. Ibrahim is extremely passionate about Egyptian history and helping Egyptian society progress and connect with others and cares deeply about each individual’s experience in his home country. He speaks Arabic, English and German, and can read Ancient Egyptian and Liturgical Coptic.
