ICELAND & GREENLAND TREK

Dates: September 23 - October 4, 2018
Group: 14 participants
Skill: Moderate
Core: Iceland
Peripheral: Greenland

DESCRIPTION

Lead by American travel blogger and writer Amanda Williams, this journey brings travellers from the stunning south coast of Iceland all the way to the remote settlements of Eastern Greenland, where we will spend a week soaking in the incredible geographical, ecological and cultural elements of this isolated land.

The arctic is jaw dropping. Vast glaciers calve into ice fjords, waterfalls tumble down verdant cliffs, immense icebergs flow towards the open ocean, Tunumiut Inuit settlements speckle the shorelines, and humpback, minke and fin whales and seals navigate through the narrow waterways between islands, ice and land. In the evenings, the aurora borealis dances overhead, illuminating the land and sea below.
