Matt Reichel

Matt is a nature and geopolitics junkie, photographer and expedition leader from Vancouver, Canada. An Inertia Network co-founder, he graduated from Brown University in 2009 with a degree in International Relations. Matt is passionate about engaging vulnerable ecological hot spots and documenting wildlife in their natural habitats. He has participated in and lead oceanic programs and whale documentation trips since 2017, and he's also the team photographer; all of the photos on this website are his.

Matt has also worked as a documentary producer, having produced a film following the North Korean Men's National Ice Hockey team and has served as an embedded photographer with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Arctic. Matt speaks English, French, Mandarin and Spanish.
