IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MICRO GROUP TRIPS
We are pioneering a concept called “Micro Group Trips” in order to offer intimate experiential travel at a low cost per person.
There are a few things you should understand about these trips before committing.
Group sizes have been set to a maximum and minimum for each trip. You can find these details on each trip’s event page.
You must put down a set deposit of $600 in order to join a trip. This deposit is ONLY refundable if the trip DOES NOT meet the minimum number of participants necessary to operate. All Micro Group Trips must meet their minimum operational number of participants at least 60 days before a scheduled departure date. Should a trip not meet this number, then the trip is canceled and deposits are returned.
Once a trip meets the minimum required number of participants your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. This is because your participation affects the cost of your travel mates as well.
The cost of the trip is ultimately decided by the final number of participants, up to the maximum number of participants.
You should be prepared to pay the highest price listed per person, meaning the price assigned for the minimum number of participants. When more participants join a trip, you receive a discount in return.
Balances are collected 60 days before a trip is scheduled to start.
Unlike most travel companies that make their margins on increasing the number of participants, Inertia earns a set commission of 10%, so we pass on all savings to you. Additionally, we charge a $100 per person service fee to cover our time in managing these micro group experiences. This is purely used to cover our operational overhead.

TRIP DESCRIPTION
This itinerary is designed to bring you to every place possible to visit in southern Yemen’s Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah regions while saving the most amount of repetitive driving time by flying in one-way. Starting from Seiyun airport (note: the flight arrives from Cairo), you begin your exploration of the mud-brick villages of Wadi Doan, the Sufi town of Tarim, and the UNESCO world heritage town of Shibam. Then you drive deep into the Empty Quarter Desert as you make your way east toward Oman and the Mehri Coast. Here, you will stay in small fishing villages, explore incredible white sand beaches, and soak in local life in this culturally diverse region. The trip ends in Salalah, Oman.
